FileShot extension for page media on any tab

Skip copy-paste when a page is full of media. The FileShot extension scans the open tab for images and videos, then lets you download everything to your computer or upload to FileShot for an instant shareable link — encrypted, with optional expiry.

One folder, many files

Create folder mints a team drop. Download folder saves the zip.

Encrypted share

The key is required to open the folder. This is FileShot sharing, not a public YouTube list.

Not batch Analyze

Do not paste 100 watch URLs here. That product is Video Downloader batch on Pro.

How Team Drop works

Create one encrypted folder for a team and download it as a zip. Click Create folder. FileShot mints the folder and a key. Download folder saves the zip. Send the key with the folder if other people need to open it.

This is FileShot folder sharing, not a playlist of 100 YouTube URLs. Video batches stay on Video Downloader Pro batch. Team Drop is a folder of files, even when that folder is still empty and you are only minting the container.

Sign in if the folder should live on your account. The key is required to open the folder. That is FileShot encryption, the same family as the rest of FileShot sharing.

Mint the folder first, then add files through FileShot sharing when that is how your team puts objects in the drop. Downloading immediately after Create folder can be an empty zip. That empty zip is still the container and the key. It is not a broken Video Downloader job.

Rotate the key if it leaked in a chat screenshot. A leaked key is a leaked folder. FileShot encryption does not help after the key is public. Create a new team folder and stop using the old zip.

Pro batch on Video Downloader is still the path for many watch URLs. Team Drop will not grow a YouTube list into an encrypted folder. Keep those products separate so a teammate who only needed a zip of contracts does not receive a pile of unrelated MP4s.

Name the folder in FileShot sharing so teammates can tell contracts from media. Team Drop mints the container. Your team still has to put the right files in it. A well-named empty folder is still better than a mixed dump of unrelated zips.

When the team is done with the folder, delete it in FileShot sharing so the key is useless. Leaving old zips in email with the key attached is a live share forever. Team Drop download is a snapshot zip, not an automatic revoke of every copy people already saved.

Put the key in a password manager team vault, not in the zip file name. A key in the filename travels with every copy and is public to anyone who lists the folder.

Do not put the only copy of a legal document solely in a team zip you then email to ten people and forget. Keep a FileShot folder as the live copy when the team still edits. The downloaded zip is a snapshot of that moment.

Encrypted team folders

The folder is encrypted. A person with the zip and no key does not get the files. Send the key through a channel you trust. Do not paste the key into a public ticket.

Team Drop does not publish a public FileShot directory of your folders. Retention follows your plan. Pro can keep team folders longer.

What you get

Team Drop mints an encrypted folder and a zip:

  • Create folder — Mints the team drop and key.
  • Download folder — Saves the zip to your computer.
  • Key — Required to open the folder. Treat it like a password.
  • Empty folder — A new folder can zip empty. That is a container, not a failed video job.
  • Not batch Analyze — Do not paste 100 watch URLs here.
  • Not inbox — Inbox Tools opens a file someone already sent. Team Drop creates a folder.
  • Not a locker — Mega folders belong on Host Fetch as file links, or on Mega itself.
  • Members — People you send the zip and key to can open the folder. FileShot does not email them for you on this page.
  • Add files — Put files into the FileShot folder through FileShot sharing when that flow is on the account. This page mints and downloads the folder zip.
  • Pro time — Pro keeps team folders longer per plan rules.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the key for?

It opens the encrypted folder. Send it with the zip. Without the key the zip is not your team files in the clear.

Can I paste 100 YouTube URLs?

No. Use Video Downloader Pro batch. Team Drop is a FileShot folder.

Why is the zip empty?

A new folder has no files yet. Add files through FileShot, then download again, or you minted a container on purpose.

Do teammates need FileShot accounts?

They need the zip and the key. An account is required when FileShot sharing requires sign-in for that folder on the account that owns it.

How long does the folder last?

Retention follows your FileShot plan. Pro keeps team folders longer.

Is this the same as Save and Share?

Save and Share zips files from a public web page. Team Drop mints an encrypted folder for a team. Different jobs.
