How Gallery Pack works
Paste an album or gallery page. FileShot lists the pictures on that page and lets you tick the shots you want. Download file writes a zip of those images. The list is images: JPG, PNG, WEBP, GIF, and similar. A video player on the same page still belongs on Video Downloader.
This is the picture-only cousin of Page File Downloader. Document PDFs stay on Document Pack. Audio files stay on Audio From Page. Mixing every file type on a messy page is Page File Downloader.
Each image in the zip is the file the gallery already linked. There is no 4K picker. If the gallery serves a 2000-pixel JPEG, that JPEG is what you get.
Some galleries serve srcset pictures: a small thumb in the HTML and a larger file in a data attribute. FileShot lists what it can read from the public document. If the large file never appears as a URL in that HTML, Gallery Pack cannot invent it. Try a download original page on the same site, or use the FileShot extension on a tab that already loaded the full images.
Album zips can get large fast. Fifty uncompressed PNGs will hit plan caps sooner than fifty JPEGs. Untick shots you do not need. Compress the zip later with File Compressor if you must email it. Save and Share is the path when the other person should download from FileShot instead of catching a huge email attachment.
Watermarks that the gallery burned into the JPEG stay in the zip. Gallery Pack does not strip site watermarks and does not upscale a 400-pixel thumb into a poster. What the page linked is what you save.
If the album is spread across paginated pages, paste each page and zip separately, or find an “all photos” view. Gallery Pack does not crawl page=2 for you. One paste is one document.
Right-click save on one hero image is still faster when you only need that shot. Gallery Pack is for the rest of the album in one zip. Do not use it as a slower way to grab a single PNG you already see in the browser.
Privacy on album zips
FileShot fetches the public gallery HTML to find image addresses. It does not log a public album of your pastes. The zip is for your download session.
Do not paste a private album that requires someone else’s login. If the gallery is public, the pictures are already on the public internet. Packing them into a zip does not change who owned them.
What gets listed
Gallery Pack looks for images on the pasted page:
- JPG and JPEG — The common camera and phone stills galleries still use.
- PNG — Screenshots and graphics with a transparent background when the page linked PNG files.
- WEBP — Modern gallery CDNs often serve WEBP. Those rows save as WEBP unless you convert later.
- GIF — Animated and still GIFs when the page linked them as files.
- BMP and TIFF — Listed when the page actually linked those files.
- SVG — Vector graphics linked as files. They zip as SVG, not as a raster render.
- Not video — MP4 on the same page belongs on Video Downloader or Page File Downloader.
- Not PDFs — Use Document Pack for document-heavy pages.
- Thumbnails — Some galleries list tiny thumbs and a larger file. Untick thumbs if you only want the large shots.
- Lazy galleries — If images inject after JavaScript and never appear in the HTML FileShot fetched, the list can be short. Try a page that links the full images in the document.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does Gallery Pack download YouTube thumbnails as the video?
No. It zips image files from a gallery page. A YouTube video is Video Downloader.
Will I get the original camera file?
You get the image file the gallery linked. If the site only linked a resized CDN still, that still is what you save.
Can I pick only some pictures?
Yes. Untick the ones you do not want. The zip holds the rest.
Why are there forty tiny icons in the list?
Those are files on the page. Untick them. Some templates link a lot of chrome images next to the album.
Is there a picture count cap?
Yes. Plans cap how many pictures go in one zip. Pro raises that count.
Can I share the album zip?
Save it, then use Save and Share or a normal FileShot upload if you want a FileShot link.
