Beta Terms — 1 Month of Pro Free

1. Offer summary

FileShot (operated by GraySoft Studio / FileShot.io) is recruiting closed testers for the FileShot Video Downloader Android app (package io.fileshot.vd) and, when listed, the FileShot main app (package io.fileshot.app).

If you complete the requirements in these Beta Terms, we will grant one (1) month of FileShot Pro on your FileShot account at no charge. That is thirty (30) days of Pro-tier access, not a permanent subscription and not Creator.

2. Eligibility

• You must have a FileShot account and be signed in on fileshot.io when you register for the offer.
• You must be able to join Google Play closed testing with a Google account you control.
• You must install the beta app from Google Play and sign into the same FileShot account inside the app.
• One reward per FileShot account. One reward per Google Play email. Duplicate or fake registrations are void.
• You must be legally able to accept Google Play’s tester terms and FileShot’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

3. What you must complete (reward trigger)

Your free Pro month is granted only after all of the following are true for your registration:

1. Register on FileShot — Submit your Google Play email on /beta and accept these Beta Terms.
2. Opt in on Google Play — Open the closed-test invite link we provide, tap Become a tester (or equivalent), and remain opted in.
3. Install & sign in — Install the beta build from Play, open it, and sign into the same FileShot account used in step 1 so our servers can confirm the install.
4. Stay opted in — Google may require testers to stay continuously opted in for fourteen (14) days before an app can move toward production. Leaving early can disqualify the tester count for Google and may void or reverse your reward if we find you opted out before day 14.

Important: Clicking a site banner alone does not grant Pro. Filling the form alone does not grant Pro. Pro is granted only after the completion steps above are verified.

4. How we verify completion

• Registration record — Your FileShot user id, Play email, and acceptance timestamp stored on our servers.
• Play opt-in — Confirmation that your Play email appears as opted-in on the closed testing track (operator check and/or Play APIs if enabled).
• App install confirmation — An authenticated call from the signed-in beta app to FileShot’s API with a valid app build stamp.

We may refuse or delay a reward if verification fails, looks fraudulent, or conflicts with another claim on the same account or Play email.

5. The Pro reward

• Duration: thirty (30) days of FileShot Pro from the grant timestamp.
• Delivery: applied to the FileShot account that registered (Stripe trial checkout and/or a timed Pro grant that our billing policy treats as an active paid period). We will not use a banned “rogue” local trial that our systems treat as free.
• After thirty days, Pro ends unless you subscribe on Pricing. We do not auto-charge you for continuing Pro unless you complete a paid checkout.
• If you already have an active paid Pro/Creator period, we may extend that period by thirty days or decline a duplicate reward — decide in favor of no double-dip abuse.
• The reward has no cash value and is not transferable.

6. Tester responsibilities

• Use the beta apps only for lawful testing.
• Expect bugs, incomplete features, and possible data loss in beta builds.
• Do not redistribute unpublished beta builds outside Play’s tester channel.
• Provide feedback in good faith when we ask (in-app, email, or forms we link from /beta).
• Keep your Play opt-in active for at least fourteen (14) continuous days when Google’s testing rules apply to our developer account.

7. What this offer is not

• Not employment, not a contractor engagement, and not paid testing.
• Not a guarantee that the app will ship to production on any date.
• Not a guarantee of Creator tier, lifetime Pro, or cash.
• Not a waiver of FileShot’s main Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.

8. Abuse, revocation, and changes

We may deny, revoke, or claw back a Pro reward if we reasonably believe you: used multiple accounts to farm rewards; provided a Play email you do not control; opted out early while claiming completion; automated the flow; or otherwise abused the offer.

We may update these Beta Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date. Continued participation after posting means you accept the updated terms for new grants.

We may close the offer when recruitment goals are met or for operational reasons. Registrations already verified remain subject to the completion rules above.

9. Privacy

We process your FileShot account email, the Play email you submit, claim status, install confirmation metadata, and related timestamps to run this offer. See our Privacy Policy. Do not submit someone else’s Play email.

10. Disclaimers

Beta software is provided “as is.” FileShot is not liable for device issues, Play account actions, lost data in beta builds, or Google’s decisions about testing or production access. Google Play is a trademark of Google LLC; this offer is not sponsored by Google.
