About Audio Tools
Podcasters, musicians, and video editors often need quick trims or level matching without opening a full DAW. FileShot runs ffmpeg on uploaded audio and returns the processed file as a download.
Supported inputs include common formats like MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, and OGG. Processing requires ffmpeg on our API host; jobs count toward your daily tools quota.
Frequently asked questions
Do you keep my audio files?
No. Uploads are processed and deleted after the download is generated.
Why did processing fail?
Unsupported codecs or a missing ffmpeg install on the server can cause errors. Try MP3 or WAV input.
Is this the same as YouTube to MP3?
No. Audio Tools edits files you upload. Use YouTube to MP3 to extract audio from video URLs.
