Douyin and TikTok are different apps
Douyin is the Chinese counterpart of TikTok, made by the same company but run as a separate app with its own videos and accounts. A Douyin video is not on TikTok, and a TikTok link does not open on Douyin. That is why Douyin support is a real difference between SnapTik and SSSTik, not a label.
Quality and sound
Neither tool improves the video. Each saves the clean copy TikTok streams, at the resolution TikTok stored it. TikTok serves its clips as single files with the sound included, so silent downloads are rare on both.
